Firetape Description

Our firetape is made with an extra thick coating of high-tem silicone rubber over a woven E-glass tape

Firetape Application

Our firetape is used to wrap hoses, cables, lines, piping and other industrial, marine and aviation equipment. It is especially useful to protect anything with an irregular shape; for example, a hose splitter assembly or cable splice. It is recommended to be over-wrapped at 30~50%, thereby providing a "double-layer" of protection. Firesleeve tape can be secured onto what it is being installed on with accessories, like tie-wraps, wire ties, hose clamps, ear clamps, other types of sleeving or periodic wraps of our End Wrap Tape.
